Auckland Arts and Crafts Fair

So a couple of weeks ago after our depressing friday night we managed to mish it up to Auckland for the arts and crafts fair. We'd been getting excited for it ever since it was advertised in Frankie and it did not disappoint. The fair was filled with a range of handmade goodies, from necklaces, cushions, bags, stationary and mustache mugs! Stalls included Hunter gather, Yellow brick road, That vintage, Foxes and of course Frankie. It was hard not to snatch up a bargain. We even meet a fellow blogger Kim from Kute kiwi  pictured above. Afterwards we walked the streets with one of our favorite bloggers Amanda from Here comes the sun, her husband Jeremy and David from Deers and Bears.

The rest of the afternoon we spent rummaging through op shops when I decided out of the blue that it was time for a haircut. So once the decision was finally made (honestly it took forever) Jess and I both decided to get our locks chopped off. We thought of it as a new start to new beginnings! Eventually we found Hi Andy's hair salon... somewhere in Auckland city. The outcome was good and we are both loving our short hair, gutted we didn't take before and after shots but it was a spur of the moment decision.

We soon headed off back to Hamilton, then straight to Flow's 'threesome flow style' third birthday. Such an epic night with so many great acts! It was awesome to see flow packed with people who have loved supporting the bestest underground club in Hamilton.
