The Perfect Hot Chocolate

It's fucking cold lately. Which means theres nothing better than snuggling up in some blankets with some delicious hot chocolate. So I thought I would share a little recipe I found from here.

• 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

• 1/4 cup white sugar

• pinch salt

• 2 1/2 tablespoons boiling water

• 2 cups milk

• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/8 cup half-and-half cream

Combine the cocoa, sugar and pinch of salt in a saucepan. Blend in the boiling water. Bring this mixture to an easy boil while you stir. Simmer and stir for about 2 minutes. Stir in milk and heat until very hot, but do not boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and cream. Divide between 2 mugs.
