WOW. What a night, as previously posted we held our launch party for our brand new magazine on Saturday night at Static. It's been a hectic couple of days organising the event and the magazine at the same time but has been worth it. So glad it all came together, especially since we only decided to put this together a few weeks ago.
The crowd was amazing right from the start. Lex and Val blew everyone away with their very talented opening performance, it most definitely will not be the last time you hear from these guys. The Latest Fallout continuously seem to draw in a bigger fan group each time they play. Only having done a few shows these guys know how to bust out a catchy song. But of course the night would not have been complete without some of Hamilton's best local Djs, Bevan, Hyperkaine and Staylo. We were even luckly enough to have a supporting act from Matt Bizzle and his 'Sexy sax' during Bevan's set. At one point I actually got trapped in a dubstep moshpit and I kid you not, literally could not find a way out. Just goes to show how many people were rageing hard and loving the sets.
Big thanks to Amanda and Graham at Static, Bevan Nichols for helping us organise everything and his Dj skills, Lex and Val, guys from The Latest Fallout, Matt Bizzle on the sax, Djs Hyperkaine and Staylo for their epic sets, Robbie Gilmore who took all the pretty pictures and our own press on the night Taylor Sincock, and all our friends that came out to support us THANK YOU!
All we need now is the perfect publication to follow up so keep an eye out. Hang tight not long till its released kids.
