Cakes and Wishes
For our first issue of WTCK we decided on a birthday shoot. There were alot of balloons, streamers, glitter and of course cake! Its always fun doing shoots but we always end up with too many images so here a few extras that didn't quite make the cut.
Big thanks again to Dilwin for taking these and make sure to keep an eye out for our next issue soon.

One
SURPRISE!! To celebrate our first birthday, we bring to you the first ever issue of WTCK magazine! We've been working on this top secret project for quite sometime now and it was so hard to keep our lips sealed! We wanted to release this on our birthday and the last few days have been a bit hectic. I guess that's all part of the fun, though! As cliche as it sounds, all the hardwork and sleepless nights (Umm how about we were up until 3 on friday/saturday morning and woke up at 7:30!).
Big big thanks to Dilwin, our photographer and good friend for working with us in this issue. This guy is pretty amazing. We literally told him our plan the day before the shoot, and he just went along with our crazy plan! We managed to do it because of his help. This guy also has some good eye for style. The outfit worn in the birthday shoot was on sale, but Dilwin totally gave me new ideas on how to style it!
Without further ado, I give to you the first ever WTCK magazine. Live now on Issuu.

20% skill 15% concentrated power of will
On Wednesday we took the day off and headed down to the Hamilton Gardens to work on a photography assignment. As you can see we have some pretty 'mad skillz' as we like to call it when it comes to taking photos. I'm especially referring to the image where it looks like Jess is photo-shopped into it - honestly don't know how that happened but it cracks me up. We've been starting to build up quite a few of these images so will put together a little 'skillz' album one day. The gardens seems to be a very photogenic place, so much to snap up. So the day would not have been complete with a couple of iced coffees to relax and take a break with.
Were off to Auckland with all the girls today. Hope your having exciting weekends :)
Note: title of the post is from Fort Miners 'Remember the Name' - because its all about the skillz with a side reference to a little inside joke there.

Make love to. . .
Typical Steph and Jess face when together!
. . . nature?
Because we are tree hugging, chair humping, ground sitting cool kids, hence, the title.
And yes, that's Steph and Jess together in one photo. Finally! Woohoo. Today we had a mini photoshoot for Dilwin and David's projects respectively. Dilwin shot Steph for his magazine and then took photos of David as well.
While I (Jess), was a bystander slash distraction that I had to go inside the house and shut up so people can actually do the task. Hahaha! Fun times. Maccas mish in the afternoon too! The lady at Maccas was so sweet and nice. I just wanted to hug her!
Random fun facts of the day:
1. "Screaming Infidelities" by Dashboard Confessional is actually about a dog according to Dilwin. Yeah, I know right. The fuuuuuck? But it kinda makes sense, I guess. Lol.
2. There are a lot of similarities between "bananas and parties", "crocodiles and love", and "dragons and bubbles". I learned a lot from class today. For example, love and crocodiles can both catch you by surprise. I think that's legit. Awesome thinking by my equally awesome classmates.
3. It's the first day of Winter (Nobody told me this, seeing as I am without pants. Oh, DEER!). And this blog is a month old!
That is all.

Fall For You
What a cold day. It was foggy all morning and although the sun came out a bit in the afternoon, it was still chilly nonetheless.
Cold weather + Snuggly knits and felt hats + Bestfriends + Yummy desserts = A very lovely day!
Finally caught up with each other after a long period of absence! Lol jk, it's only been a week. The day was filled with loads of stories, laughs, inside jokes, toilet trips (Cold weather = The need to pee every 5 minutes), beautiful Fall scenery, gluttony, and discussions of life and career paths.
Funny conversation of the night:
J: . . . at least we don't look like each other even though we're like, bestfriends!
*Looks at our hats and outfits*
S: Well. . .
Hahaha! Tuesday nights are good. . . especially with Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and then 90210 after! Love <3
P.S.
Thanks to Renee for making the mint hot chocolate extra special! It was yummmyyyy x
